Well Back in the studio again today working on Michaels vocals, everything is starting to take shape nicely. Vocals are starting to sound perfect for my remix working on some cool special effects. I want the mix to be very bounchy and punchy working on the basslines at the moment compressing them with a cool vintage compressor. 

The remix will be around 5.00 minutes in length I'm aiming to do something very special for this remix. I don't often get asked to remix male vocals so its something new for me to do I have worked with one or two male vocalists before but normally work with around 99% with female vocalists. 

I'm enjoying how everything is starting to sound, I'm going to take alittle bit of time on this remix before I release it. This remix will be out on Itunes released under Beat Factory Click to enter

1 Dec 2011 - Mixing Day

For this song I want the vocals to standout more, so im going to spend a couple of days processing and working out vocal effects. I know which way I want the vocals to sound its just a case of spending hours mixing and trying different vocal effects. all the drumbeats are done and basslines perfectly mixed. I have an idea for the atmosphere of the song something thats very catchy lots of movement. Back in the studio on Sunday todays session was more of listening to the vocals and getting a feeling for the song. 

Customising it to my liking before im fully happy with the song. my version is more uptempo Bye for now See you all on Sunday from Mixer Man

30th November 2011 - Day one of Recording

Started sampling the vocals today, listen to the original version of the song. I think im going to go more in the way of dance music rather than pop because I've started laying down the rhythm and it really brings the song alive.

Working on the basslines next maybe my good friend Roland Jupiter 8 could help me out with something abit more retro. Its a great pop song, cannot wait to hear the full mix once I've completed writting the melodies & chords for the song.

I'm going to give the song and nice chunky beat with a very strong rhythm section. as for the bassline and melodies I haven't worked them out yet.

But the idea is there and over the next week or so it will start to fall into place and take shape.

21th Nov 2011 - In the studio today mixing 

Abi Ryan, the remix is going well starting to take shape hopeful I can get back into the studio this week, starting work on it again today I'll try and uploading it on 28th Nov 2011. 

I have a couple of hours work left before I can upload the track, so far I really like the sound but it still needs a good couple of hours work before i'm fully happy with the song. 

For this track I really want a beefy beat and catchy sounds to blend in with the two vocals. Todays recording when very well Bye for now from The Mixer Man

22th Nov 2011 - Mixing

Today in the studio went great, started working on new melodies for the song. Really enjoying how the song is turning out very phunky and catchy, I have meets coming up soon on Thursday,Friday which means it might be abit of a problem to complete it for Monday but we'll see have a funky week. bye for now from The Mixer Man

Reggae Artists Project - - 4th Nov 2011

This is a new project im working on at the moment,busy writing with a reggae
artist its going well having found sampling vocals and beats for my song. I have a couple of ideas for this song which im working on.

soundcloud page is going well, not many people on myspace anymore dont know why that is maybe because of facebook etc.

well I've completed all the remixes for the time being with Beat Factory, i'm now working on some new remixes, and setuping some original songs with an Famous singer that im busy writting with.
